Occupational Safety & Health Indonesia (OSHI) was formed in 2007 with the aim of providing quality services, consulting and training to public and occupational enhancement knowledge and skills in health, safety and environment (HSE) matters. The quality services of OSHI has proven performance and continual in the offshore oil and gas, mining, industrial and shipping industries. OSHI pursues a policy of providing quality and cost effective competency based training to its key market segments. The training curriculum is based on guidelines set by International Industries Bodies and efficient work-place practices in use throughout the world
OSHI training program accreditation involved some personnel over a century of proven experience, having responded to and successfully controlled various types of catastrophes on locations throughout the world. Our customers, as the students in attendance at the training centers, will be provided with the knowledge of those having actually been exposed to the disastrous result of improper procedures and demanding conditions that exist in an emergency.
Complementing the OSHI - Pertamina Simprug Training Center (TC) was developed as the Basic Safety and Emergency Training Center Facility and situated in the center of Jakarta city. OSHI - Pertamina Simprug Training Center is very suitable to conduct kinds of various training related to fire emergency, medical/first aid and water/sea survival training. Inside around 5 hectare of PERTAMINA SIMPRUG area as the sport complex and learning center, make OSHI also capable to conduct several of Construction Skill training such as forklift operator, scaffolding, safe working at height, high angle rescue training, etc.
OSHI established a cooperation with Indonesia Air Force (MABESAL TNI-AU), specifically with LAKESPRA SARYANTO made OSHI Training Center become more complete for Aviation Survival Training services. OSHI - LAKESPRA SARYANTO TC was equipped with World's best Helicopter Underwater Escape Training simulator. This model 30 simulator known as METS (Modular Egress Training Simulator) made by Survival System Canada. Beside the METS, suitable swimming pool and helicopter hoisting operation platform make the training participants can feel the realistic of being lift-up with water spraying from the sprinklers as the effect of helicopter down-wash effect.
OSHI in this recent time is making cooperation with Indonesia Flying Collage / STPI (Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia) for design and consulting to build Advanced One Stop Safety Training Facility for water survival , rotary and fixed wing aviation survival, oil & gas fire ground and typical of Boeing aircraft fire fighting.
This cooperation is in a project that should be finish at the end of December 2010. On-going while running this One Stop Safety Training Center at Curug, OSHI is in-charge as the consultant to enhance training materials and training operation guidelines for conducting all the training in this facility according to International Bodies Standard and Regulation.
